Exploring the Mighty Love of God
This summer 32 precious children attended the one week Catholic VBS program, High Seas Adventure. VBS was held from June 7 - June 11 and everyone, including the teen helpers and the teachers had a swashbuckling adventure and great time. VBS participants will started the evening off by singing and dancing in Totally Catholic Sing & Play Splash, then sampled tasty treats from Goodies in the Galley, made crazy creations in Clippership Crafts and Missions and raced around at Shipwreck Games. Everyone was excited to see what Chadder had been up to this year in Sail Away Cinema (a St. Matthew's favorite every year) and everyone found themselves living in a real bible adventure during Bible Voyages. Parents, Grandparents and teenage volunteers are encouraged to get involved with VBS. We need teens to act as Crew Leaders and parents and Grandparents to be Station Leaders. This VBS program is completely laid out for you, no extra work at all! Just show up each evening and get ready for fun! No experience needed to help out, just contact Jennifer in Family Life to Volunteer.
